The Conservative Medical Society was established twenty years ago to promote debate within the Conservative Party on health care.
We hold meetings and publish papers on health matters.
We are affiliated to the National Union of the Conservative Party and have the support of the Conservative Shadow Health Secretary.
We are a Society open to differing views, but committed to Conservative principles of freedom, quality and diversity -- and to the principle that the NHS should remain as the provider of health care for all who need it, free at the point of delivery.
Full membership is open to anyone with a professional health qualification. Associate membership is encouraged for all those interested or involved with the development of improved health care throughout the United Kingdom.
To cover running costs the annual subscription is £40. Students £12.50
